Three local causes in Sidmouth received a much needed funding boost thanks to the Co-op's annual Local Community Fund campaign.

Each year, Co-op stores ask local people to nominate deserving community causes. Funds are raised when Co-op Members buy selected Co-op products and services, with 2p for every £1 they spend going into their Co-op Membership account and also to the selected local causes.

Co-operate is an online community centre bringing people in Sidmouth together to make good things happen. Whether you want to find things to do, volunteer, join a group or set up your own – it's for people who care about their community and want to join forces to get things done.

Co-operate helps build stronger communities where people are more connected. There are over 20,000 people, including 11,000 groups, sharing ways to get involved and support each other. Created with local communities, by local communities and for local communities.
