Your new role

As an English secondary school supply teacher on a long term contract, you will be offered the support and training needed from both the school and agency. Taking students through exams and various different curriculum requirements, planning and marking will be required which results in a high day rate than general supply. Working with a truly outstanding college, set in picturesque East Devon, you will have the chance to experience an educational setting on a long term basis. This can be a brilliant way to introduce yourself to the area, introduce yourself to the school, build relationships with faculty and senior leadership and gain experience with a well-respected educational facility.

What you'll need to succeed

As an English specialist who is reliable, able to quickly build relationships with both staff and students and can offer high quality teaching on an interim basis, you will be working solely with one college based in East Devon, building rapport and a strong base.

The level of your teaching and rapport building will result in fantastic references, a sound to continue your long term supply or build relationships and get a "foot in the door" for any permanent contracts available if you wished to go down that route.

In order to become registered as a Hays supply teacher, you will need to undergo a compliance procedure which is highly commended, well respected, and thorough. This will include eligibility and ID checks, the processing of an enhanced DBS and any relevant referencing.

About The Role

Laundry Assistants required, full/part time £8.35 per hour.

Reporting to the Care Manager, the successful candidate will work as part of a team carrying out duties including handling all laundry, washing and ironing, simple repairs, sorting clothes by nametags, and ensuring cleanliness and safety in the laundry area.
