A 'walking car boot sale' is being organised in Newton Poppleford, raising money for Devon Air Ambulance.

Local residents will be invited to set up a stall outside their house, and customers will walk around the village browsing for bargains.

The fee for having a stall will be a donation of £5.00 to the air ambulance trust, and householders can keep all the money they get from sales.

The event is planned for Saturday, September 25 and organiser Holly Nash would like to hear from people who're interested in having a stall.

Nearer the time, she'll create a map showing the houses that are taking part, available for customers to collect from the start point at 9, King Alfred Way, from 10.45am on the day. The stalls will be open from 11am until 4pm.

Anyone who'd like to have a stall can contact Holly via email, [email protected] or by calling her on 07474 977 529.
