Serious road traffic collision Tythe Barn Way Exeter
TeAt approximately 1913 hrs on Thursday 13th September 2018, a serious RTC occurred between a silver Ford Focus Motor Car and a pedal cyclist at the junction of Tythe Barn Road and Pinn Lane, Exeter.
The Ford Fiesta was driven by a 21 year old local male, and the pedal cycle was being ridden by a 16 year old male also local to the areaAs a result of the collision the pedal cyclist sustained serious life threatening injuries and was conveyed by land ambulance to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. The driver and front seat passenger of the Ford Fiesta were uninjured.
Local officers as well as Officers from the Roads Policing Team, and Serious Collison Investigation Unit attended the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Police on 101 quoting theLog number 794 13/09/18.
