A local woman has raised more than £600 for Hospiscare by taking part in the charity's 'Marathon in a Month' initiative.

Bev Faulkner, who works in Fort Cafe on Sidmouth seafront, took part in Hospiscare's Marathon in a Month challenge, which involves running, walking, or jogging a total of 26.2 miles over one month.

She completed the challenge in October and raised £610 through donations. Bev has said that she would like to thank one individual in particular, Matthew Weaver, and the staff and customers at Fort Cafe.
