The Sidmouth Running Club Juniors were very lucky this half term managing to hold all their sessions bar the last one outside.

For the 11+ group this meant they were able to run off-road enjoying the views from Keble Seat and the seafront whilst the three 8+ groups were able to spread out on St John's sports field.

The 8+ group had put 110% into the six week programme which includes sessions on jumping, throwing and running. Their results are recorded so they can see their improvement as their technique develops.

The 11+ group focuses more on running technique and style and they meet on Sunday mornings as well as Wednesday evenings so a run in daylight is guaranteed.

At the end of Wednesday's session Junior Coach Kerry Boyle thanked the leaders and helpers who turn up each week and make the sessions run smoothly and certificates were presented by Chairman Terry Bewes who congratulated their achievements to lots of enthusiastic cheering!
