73 year old man dies after crash on farmland near Sidmouth

A 73-year-old man has died after a single vehicle crash on farmland near Sidmouth.

On the afternoon of Monday, November 25, a single-vehicle collision occurred on farmland in the Salcombe Regis area of Sidmouth, where, sadly, a 73-year-old local man was fatally injured.

No other vehicles or persons were involved.

Alliance roads policing officers attended the scene and carried out a forensic collision investigation and a report will be prepared for the coroner.

The incident involved a John Deere Gator all-terrain vehicle.

Emergency services were called at around 5.50pm. The 73-year-old man was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next-of-kin have been informed.

Police would like to pass on their thanks to the ambulance and fire services for their help at the scene.
