A30 closed after serious incident involving a lorry and a van

Police have closed the A30 in both directions after a crash involving a van and lorry this afternoon.

Police have tweeted that the crash is now a 'serious incident' and took place at around 2.30pm on the A30, near Aller Grove (B3174).

Traffic is reported to be 'very slow' on the A30 due to the incident between Fenny Bridges, B3177, and Daisy Mount Cross, B3174.

Motorists are advised to avoid this section of the A30 while the incident is cleared.
