Beer Coastguard called to cliff fall at Jacob's Ladder

Beer Coastguard Rescue Team were called out late yesterday afternoon (June 23) to assist with a cliff fall at Jacob's Ladder.

Nobody was injured in the incident. Cliff falls in Sidmouth have occurred more frequently recently due to the weather conditions.

A spokesperson for Beer Coastguard said: "Late afternoon we were tasked to a cliff fall at Jacob's ladder.

"We investigated the cliff fall and confirmed that no persons were injured.

"This is just one of many cliff falls that happen along the coast, please keep away from the base of cliffs and do not climb over recent cliff falls."
