Have you ever wanted to try dances of India - Bhangra folk dance and Bollywood?
Now is your chance.
Inclusive, fun, dance-a-long workshop to happy and expressive beats from India. Go at your own pace. Our dancing is low impact.
December 7, February 15 and April 4.
Time: 2.00 - 2.45pm, 2.45 tea break - then more dancing until 4 pm! Price: £12 per person, £6 for the first half only (ideal if you would like a taster, or if time is short). Venue: Dance Studio, The Unitarian Old Dissenting Meeting House www.ukunitarians.org.uk/sidmouth All Saints Road at the top of the High Street, EX10 8ER(Dance Studio and Meeting Room round the corner in May Terrace towards the hospital).

WHAT IS BHANGRA DANCE? - A fusion of folk dance and music which originates from the Punjab region of India and Pakistan.
BOLLYWOOD - dancing to music from the Hindi film industry - a fusion of many types of dance, colourful, vibrant, always joyful.
PROGRAMME:
- Welcome & warm up to some soulful Bollywood tunes
- Learn some Bhangra and Bollywood dance steps
- Break - indian tea available
- More dancing!
- Warm down and goodbyes
Wear something loose and comfortable that gives you freedom of movement - specialist footware is not required, but wear something that will support your feet.
