Car ends up on its side on A3052 Sidmouth Road at Four Elms Hill

A car ended up on its side on the A3052 Sidmouth Road at Four Elms Hill on Sunday (8 January).

Only one car was involved in the crash and there were no injuries. The driver was trapped but freed by emergency services.

Police were called to the scene just after 10.45am and the road was reopened at around 12.30pm.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "Police were called to Four Elms Hill, near Sidmouth, on the A3052 just after 10.45am on Sunday (8 January) to reports of a car on its side.

"It was a single-vehicle collision and the driver was trapped in the car, but freed by emergency services.

"There were no reports of injuries.

"The road was reopened at about 12.30pm."
