Sidmouth's Connaught Gardens will soon be available as a wedding venue and to celebrate a Wedding Open Day will be held in the gardens next weekend.
The Wedding Open Day will take place on Saturday, September 19, starting at 12pm.
It is being organised by West Country Wedding Planner, a spokesperson said: "To celebrate the new opening of Connaught gardens for weddings pop along and see what your day will be like. Chat to suppliers about your plans and start planning your day.
"With the average UK wedding taking over 200 hours to organise, we believe that every bride deserves a helping hand no matter what her budget!
"We offer a variety of wedding planning products and services and all include a level of professional co-ordination from our experienced planners completely free of charge."
Connaught Gardens is managed by East Devon District Council, a council spokesperson said: "Connaught's formal Victorian style gardens is one of the most popular sites in Sidmouth and well frequented by visitors. Offering a diverse site, which can be utilised for a number of different events and activities, the gardens have previously been used for wedding blessings, photographs, theatre productions, concerts, community events and much more.
"Situated on a cliff top and overlooking Sidmouth's pebbled beach, Connaught Gardens offers fantastic views from a number of points. The gardens are divided into several areas that include a lawned area in front of bandstand, (the main area for events), a beautiful sunken garden and an extension garden with on-site cafe operated on a concession basis. Electricity and public toilets are available on site and a large pay and display car park is positioned opposite the gardens for easy access."
