Preparations are underway for Salcombe Regis Country Fair, which will be held on Thursday 1 June this year from 2pm to 5pm.

Attractions will include stalls selling crafts, plants, gifts, books, jewellery, paintings, antiques, tools, electricals and more.

Tea and cake will also be on offer, as well as glasses of Pimm's.

A spokesperson said: "The fair relies on the generosity of readers donating items for sale. So, if you have any items to donate, please get in touch with Tom on 07962 303158 or Nicola on 07775 523402 to arrange collection.

"Don't forget to come along to enjoy the atmosphere of a real country fair."

Free parking is available at the Salcombe Regis Recreation Field and there will be a free minibus to and from the village.

The fair will be supporting the Sid Valley Memory Café, Sid Vale Scouts, Sidmouth Living with Cancer, The Gateway Project, Sidmouth Hospice at Home and Parkinson's East Devon.
