Whether you are planning to check out Sidmouth Food Festival at Kennaway House, take a walk along the beautiful seafront or simply enjoy an Easter Sunday carvery, here is all the weather information you need to make the most of your Easter.

The run up to the Easter weekend will be changeable but Met Office forecasters are hopeful we will have some sunny weather over the weekend.

Wednesday will start off cloudy but the clouds will disperse as the day goes on with fine and dry weather taking over in the afternoon. It should feel much warmer with a maximum temperature of 17C.

Between Thursday and Saturday the weather will continue to be dry and warm with increasing amounts of sunshine as we head into the weekend.

Friday and Saturday are predicted to be the hottest days with the Met office forecasting 'very warm conditions'.

On Easter Sunday the weather may become more changeable with temperatures dropping off.

Outbreaks of rain and strong winds spreading from the north-west could put a dampener on any outdoor Easter fun on Sunday.

According to the Met Office the rest of April will be generally 'more changeable' with showers and prolonged spells of rain likely, coupled with high winds.
