An ex-paratrooper walking the coastline of the UK for charity will be launching a book he has written about his experiences in Sidmouth this weekend.

Christian Lewis will be signing copies of Finding Hildasay with his fiancée Kate at Winstone's Bookshop on Saturday (4 February) from 2pm.

He has so far raised over £320k for the Armed Forces charity SSAFA after beginning his trek in August 2017.

Sir Andrew Gregory, CEO of SSAFA said: "The word 'inspiration' is often overused; Chris really is an inspiration. I urge you to read his tale."

The trip has seen him walk around Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and also spend three months on an uninhabited island called Hildasay.

Christian will now walk through Devon, Cornwall, and eventually finish in Swansea.
