Fallen power cables – Sidmouth High Street closed

Police have been forced to close Sidmouth High Street this afternoon after power cables fell into the road.

The problem was reported to police at around midday today (March 29).

Devon and Cornwall Police have closed the High Street, between All Saints Road and Russell Street, to protect the public while engineers are brought in to make the street safe once more.
