Customer Assistant in Sidmouth – Lidl GB

The variety and pace that comes with every shift as a Customer Assistant at Lidl needs dedication and flexibility. Our stores are open Monday to Sunday so you'll need to be able to work weekends, as well as weekday shifts. You'll put in a shift as part of the team to check and unpack deliveries, work on the tills, stock our shelves and, most importantly, help our customers. We'll train you to be multi-skilled in the many different areas of the store and show you what it takes to keep a store running smoothly – and once you're up to speed you'll be a vital part of ensuring every shift runs like clockwork.

Please note that as part of your application you will be asked to complete three online exercises taking less than 20 minutes, designed to provide us with a more in-depth understanding of you and your potential as a member of our team. Should you be successful at this stage, someone from the recruitment team will get in touch to chat about your application over the phone and following this you may be invited to face to face interview.

What will you do?

Conveyancing Assistant/Secretary in Sidmouth – Legal South West

Our Client is a leading law firm with a number of offices across the Devon area, on behalf of our client we are seeking a Conveyancing Assistant/Secretary for their Sidmouth office.

Hours are 9.00 am to 5.00 pm with one hour for lunch Monday to Friday inclusive.

We are looking for an organised individual with previous legal and conveyancing experience, confident managing a busy workload in a fast-paced environment with the ability to use own initiative and work well under pressure.

The successful candidate will need to be able to assist in the progression of a conveyancing transaction to include:

Exchanging contracts and dealing with completions

Preparation of contracts, transfers, trust deeds and correspondence

Dealing with completion statements

Raising Solicitors invoices

Drawing up contracts

Taking instructions from and liaising with clients

Undertake on-line searches, and Complete Land Registry and SDLT forms on-line

Provide secretarial assistance to residential conveyancing lawyers based in the Sidmouth office

Participate in rotas for the purposes of Reception/Post/DX cover

Deal with telephone calls in a confident manner providing clear, accurate and up-to-date information

Produce documents using the firm's case management software

Demonstrate good administrative skills with good attention to detail

Demonstrate good organisation skills

Demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and spoken

Cope well under pressure, with an ability to work flexibly and cope with changing priorities

Take a positive and proactive approach to work, anticipating and meeting the needs of the department

Be receptive to receiving and acting on instructions given by immediate supervisor

Be competent in using Word and other Microsoft Products (Outlook and Powerpoint).

Registered Care Home Manager – Ottery St Mary

About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nurse Qualified Care Home Manager to join the team at:

Location: Kings Manor Care Home, Pavey Run, Ottery St Mary EX11 1FQ

40 hours per week £60,000 per annum plus bonus to be discussed at interview.

Reporting to the Regional Director, the Registered Care Home Manager will have overall responsibility for the delivery of high quality nursing and care for our residents. As the Care Home Manager, you will monitor and manage the performance of all staff; ensuring company and compliance standards are maintained and exceeded. You will also be responsible for marketing the home within the local community, maximising occupancy, managing budgets, payroll and rotas.

About You

Our ideal Registered Care Home Manager will have the following skills and values:

Previous experience of management within a Care Home or similar environment.
