The Visit England ROSE 2019 Award has been greatly received by the Hotel Riviera for their assiduous dedication to providing service excellence.

The award which recognises accommodation providers across England for their service to customers, had a shortlist of just 100 locations receiving recognition this year.

In order to receive this award, Hotel Riviera has had to demonstrate their offering of more than just a place to rest. Cosy, tasteful rooms together with a team of dedicated and experienced staff augment the hotel's fine cuisine menu, featuring speciality seafood and local produce, to represent an overall package worthy of the ROSE Award.

The Wharton family have been welcoming guests for over 45 years and pride themselves on the levels of service they offer; this ROSE Award is the 3rd Visit England Award to add to their belt and truly rounds up an incredible year of exciting events and glowing guest reviews.

Hotel Managing Director, Peter Wharton commented:

"The ROSE Awards are an accolade that hotels strive for nationwide, the Riviera receiving this 2019 ROSE has created a buzz amongst our talented team.

"Giving them all the spark to continue the service excellence that has contributed towards this win. We look forward to many more years of offering an exciting Sidmouth destination."

VisitEngland Director Andrew Stokes said: "The ROSE Awards highlights those businesses who go above and beyond for their customers, providing the highest levels of customer service and ensuring repeat business, driving visitor growth and boosting local economies."

This win for Hotel Riviera not only helps them to represent their service excellence, it also benefits the wider Sidmouth tourism scene. Keeping the Hotel Riviera and Sidmouth on the map as a desirable location to stay.
