Members of the public wishing to pay their respects to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton can now do so by laying flowers and signing books of condolence.
The union flag is currently being flown at half-mast in Sidmouth's Connaught Gardens, along the seafront, and in Budleigh Salterton.
Tributes have also been made by leading figures in the town following the announcement that the Queen had passed away peacefully at Balmoral yesterday afternoon.
How can I pay my respects?
Flowers may be left at Sidmouth Parish Church in the churchyard either side of the main entrance and lychgate, and at the Green in Budleigh Salterton.
Books of condolences for people to sign can be found in the offices of Sidmouth Town Council on Woolcombe Road (9am-1pm Monday to Friday) near The Byes and Budleigh Salterton Town Council on Station Road.
The Royal Family's e-book of condolence can also be accessed online here.
