An injured lorry driver had to be taken to hospital after a serious collision involving a HGV and a tractor on the A30.

Devon and Cornwall Police were called to a crash on the A30, westbound near Daisymount, between a 17-tonne lorry and a tractor at around 3.20pm on Monday, January 27.

Police closed the westbound carriageway of the A30 at 3.45pm and instituted a partial road closure until 6pm.

The driver of the lorry was taken to hospital via ambulance with what are understood to be non-serious injuries.
