Jurassic Fibre has been shortlisted for three national awards from a broadband industry association.

It's in the running for Best Consumer Internet Service Provider (ISP), Best Business ISP and Best Partnership (with Burrington Estates) in the 2021 Internet Service Providers Association (ISPA) Internet Industry and Broadband Awards.

The news comes shortly after Jurassic Fibre unveiled the Sidmouth area as the latest location to benefit from its ultrafast fibre-to-the-premises network; read more about that

Michael Maltby, CEO and Founder of Jurassic Fibre, said: "We are very pleased to be named as a finalist for the Best Consumer ISP, Best Business ISP and Best Partnership categories at the 2021 ISPA Awards.

"This is the second year in a row we have been shortlisted for the awards, after taking home the title of Best New ISP at last year's event. This result is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our highly skilled and motivated team and firmly cements Jurassic Fibre's status as one of the UK's leading internet service providers.

"Jurassic Fibre is rapidly expanding our ultrafast full fibre network across Devon, Somerset and Dorset. We can now service almost 50,000 premises in communities including Barnstaple, Exmouth, Honiton, Bridgwater and Taunton with Wellington, Yeovil and Sidmouth shortly expected to go live.

"As a local company, we are committed to supporting communities and businesses right here in the South West and delivering cutting-edge connectivity to some of the most hard-to-reach locations across the region."

Jurassic Fibre received a £250m investment from Fern Trading, advised by Octopus Investments, to deliver a fibre network for the South West, passing over 350,000 premises.

The company says its goal to future-proof the broadband infrastructure across Devon, Somerset and Dorset for years to come drives it to provide the best connectivity to communities that have historically been overlooked by other providers.
