- Burglary non-dwelling: 1

The figures have been released as part of the Sidmouth Neighbourhood Police Newsletter October 2020.
As part of the newsletter police have also offered guidance on Halloween, asking people to stay at home and not go trick-or-treating, due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
Due to the 'rule of six' which applies indoors and outdoors, gatherings that exceed this limit, such as traditional Halloween parties and social events, also cannot take place this year.
Sidmouth police officers have suggested ways for residents to enjoy Halloween at home.
This includes organising a Halloween-themed scavenger hunt around the house and garden or arranging a virtual fancy dress party online and inviting friends and family.
Another suggestion was to out-boo neighbours by having a window decorating competition or by getting creative in the kitchen making spooky snacks.
Further suggestions included decorating living rooms and creating your own scary cinema and playing Halloween-inspired games.
