Local Sidmouth business Ebb Tides Seaweeds has won a gold award at the Food Drink Devon awards for its latest seaweed-based beer Ladram Bay Bitter.

These accolades celebrate the very best Devon has to offer by recognising the county's most respected and influential food and drink producers.

This year's glittering black tie awards ceremony, where the winners were announced, was held at Sandy Park, which is home to Premiership Rugby team the Exeter Chiefs.

Ladram Bay Bitter now joins Ebb Tides' other gold-winning  seaweed-based beer Danger Point Red Ale as part of its coastal beer range.

Collecting the awards were company directors John Hammond and Tony Coulson.
