Scottish airline Loganair has announced plans to safeguard 'UK regional connectivity' by taking up 16 routes formerly flown by Flybe, with the addition of around 400 new flights each week.

The 16 routes will be launched gradually over the next three months, with the majority of these key air routes starting as early as next week.

The routes include:

Edinburgh-Exeter: from 23 March (daily)

Glasgow-Exeter: from 30 March (daily)

Newcastle-Exeter: from 6 July (daily except Saturday)

Flights are already on sale at loganair.co.uk.
