Motorcyclist dies in A3052 Sidford crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died in a crash on the A3052 at Stevens Cross in Sidford on Saturday (4 February).

The collision involved a motorcycle and no other vehicles.

The male rider was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police are still trying to locate his next of kin.

Emergency services were called out just after 7.10pm and the road was closed for around six hours for a forensic examination of the scene and to recover the vehicle.
