Jack Nunn, 18, who lives in Sidmouth with his mum, stepfather and three younger siblings has beaten what was previously described as 'his toughest opponent yet'.

He now ranks as seventh in the UK for Muay Thai [Thai kickboxing] at 57kg. Jack secured the title in the 5th round with a Technical Knock Out (TKO) after showering his opponent, Corey Mclachlan, with downward elbows to the top of the head.

It's the third big name in UK Muay Thai that Jack has now defeated, having secured the 60kg British kickboxing title in his previous fight - and he shows no signs of slowing down either.

The young champion is already setting his sights on his next big fight, which must currently remain under wraps until officially agreed.

Nunn trains with Steve Pender at Team Chaos Muay Thai Fitness Centre in Okehampton. His passion for martial arts was ignited at the age of nine, when he began practising Judo and Tae Kwon Do in Ottery St Mary, before turning to Muay Thai at 12 years old.

Since training with Team Chaos, Jack has gone from amateur fighter to training and fighting at a professional level.

Speaking to Nub News, Jack said: "I love it so much and find the training, coaching and team mates amazing.

"The support I get from them has given me the strength and confidence to achieve great things in the fight world.

"I want to also thank my sponsors; West Hill Garage, Jason Hannay at Coolheat Southwest Ltd, Denise Hansford school of motoring and Alex White, who is the most amazing friend I could have.

"I have made a name for myself now, but I am determined to remain humble.

"In the fight world anything can happen, but I will do my best to make Sidmouth proud."

With Jack's ever-increasing requirements as an athlete training, he continuously requires support to help fund his diet, supplements, travel costs etc.
