New-look for Sidmouth Swimming Pool changing areas

The changing areas at Sidmouth Swimming Pool are being given a refresh with customers already noticing the improvements. 

The refresh is said to be progressing well, with the locker room updated with new locker doors and locks as well as a whole bank of lockers removed to make the area lighter and provide more space. 

New shower panels have been fitted over the existing tiles, along with new pipe work and new toilets will be installed in the coming weeks, as well as additional cubicles installed in the female changing room. 

Once the changing areas have been updated the focus will turn to improving the reception area.

Steve Reid, LED's Leisure Manager for Sidmouth, said: "We're very excited with the refresh of the changing areas at Sidmouth Pool. Customers will have already noticed some improvements in the locker room and showers, and there's more to come!

"The refresh will provide our customers a modern centre that the staff and local residents will feel proud of right in the centre of town."

The changing room works are due to finish at the end of this month.
