A new photo book looking at life in Sidmouth while under the coronavirus lock down has been published by a local photographer.

The photo book, Locked Down in a Small Seaside Town, by Kyle Baker, documents how our vibrant tourist town was affected by the coronavirus, Covid-19.

It features the empty streets; the community that stood up and started to create scrubs, masks and visors for key workers; the Sidmouth Food Bank who had a huge increase in demand; some of the faces of local key workers and scenes from the short documentary "Locked Down in a Small Seaside Town" that has been viewed around the world.

All photographs were taken by Sidmouth photographer and film-maker Kyle Baker. You can view more of his work and the short documentary on Facebook and Youtube at Kyle Baker Photography & Videography or www.kylebakerphotography.com.

The Limited Charity Edition has extra images and the Covid Hearts poem by Imogen H-C. as heard in "Locked Down in a Small Seaside Town" with a donation per sale going to the Sid Valley Food Bank. Available to order here.

Book deliveries will start at the beginning of July.

Kyle said: "This book documents this surreal time in history and is the perfect coffee table book! I have had a huge number of orders, people wanting to have a keepsake, something to show the future generations!

"The book shows an emotional journey, I am proud to be able to support the Sid Valley Food Bank who have worked in overdrive with a huge increase in demand, with a donation from each A4 Limited Charity Edition Book going to them."
