September has somehow crept upon us and the kids are heading back to school, leaving us to get back to some kind of normality. Or at least as close as we can get, anyway.

With winter coming and with it the threat of ordinary colds and flu, it has never been more important to focus on your own health and wellbeing. Even Boris Johnson has taken on a Personal Trainer to help him get fitter and shed the excess pounds after his hospitalisation earlier this year with COVID-19.

Increasingly more activities are opening – from grass roots football, rugby and cricket to swimming pools – and gyms are busy adapting their timetables and classes to comply with the new regulations.

So now is the perfect time to get your fitness back on track, putting you in the best position to tackle whatever the colder weather throws at us.

You may be concerned about trying out fitness classes or going back to a gym, but rest assured that everyone in our industry is putting your health and wellbeing first, following strict cleanliness and safety guidelines. At LC Fitness, we've restricted class numbers to ensure there are never more than six or seven people in a class, each with their own socially-distanced 'zone'.

Keeping fit is vital not only for our physical health, but for our mental health too, and exercising with others adds a fun, moral-boosting element to what can be a daunting task!

So, whether you want to stretch and relax, get the heart pumping, or lift some weights, book onto a class today and start feeling those mental and physical benefits. Or, if you fancy a one-to-one session (well, if it's good enough for the Prime Minister!), get in touch. We are also able to provide private classes for your social bubble.

Of course, if exercise classes and gyms aren't your thing, there is still plenty you can do to keep active; go for a hike and enjoy our beautiful countryside, hop on your bike and explore, or simply keep your steps above 10,000 per day. Whatever you do, just do something!
