It's Spring time and many Sidmouth residents would normally be out enjoying the beautiful countryside surrounding our town but due to the coronavirus lock down those nature walks have been put on hold.

Thanks to Sidmouth photographer Deborah Robertson we can still enjoy the Spring Bluebells on Salcombe Hill.

According to the National Trust the 'outstanding display of Bluebells' starts at the beginning of April and lasts until the end of May.

When the lock down is over walkers will be able to enjoy the trust's circular walk between Salcombe Hill and Sidmouth. The walk takes around three hours, covering five miles.

However, walkers will have to wait a little bit longer to get out in the countryside safely.

A National Trust spokesperson said: "Following the latest advice on the coronavirus outbreak, all of our car parks and trails are now closed. Please stay local and do not travel."

In the meantime enjoy these beautiful pictures and remember if you take any pictures you think the community would like to see please email them to [email protected].
