Planning permission for a new two-storey house near Sidmouth town centre has been granted by East Devon District Council.

The home will be erected on a vacant brownfield site on Lennox Avenue and have three bedrooms and a garage.

Materials to be used for the walls include brick, white render and grey horizontal boarding. The roof will be slate, and the windows and doors grey UPVC.

Under the approval conditions, construction must begin in the next three years.

Construction working hours must also be 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm on Saturdays, with no working on Sundays or bank holidays and no burning on site.
