Police appeal after 18-year-old dies in crash in East Budleigh

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in East Budleigh yesterday evening (Wednesday 26 May).

The collision happened at around 10pm on Budleigh Hill when a blue Ford Fiesta collided with a wall.

There were three people inside the car, one of whom, an 18-year-old male from North Devon, died at the scene.

Another of the occupants sustained serious injuries (not life-threatening) and is being treated at Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital.

The other occupant had minor injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses of the incident, or anyone saw the car prior to the collision.
