Police are appealing for information after a man has been reported missing from the Ottery St Mary area.

A police statement read: "Your observations are requested for the following man reported as missing from the Ottery St Mary area and last seen at 10am yesterday, Tuesday 22 October 2019.

"He is known as Mark Soutar and is described as white, 48 years of age, 5 feet 11 inches in height, slim build, short dark hair, wearing dark trousers and a navy fleece jumper.

"He is believed to be driving a silver Ford Focus Estate.

"We have concerns for his welfare."
