Little Max is in need of a forever home.

This handsome fellow was taken to ARC Animal Rescue Centre, in Ottery, when his owner's work patterns changed and he didn't like to be left alone.

A spokesperson for the charity said he would prefer a female owner and to play with another dog.

This seven-month-old pooch loves to run and has lots of energy.

He can be wary of men and doesn't like loud noises or shouting.

Max, a border collie, could do with a loving home in a quiet location with someone who is going to be around for him.

He does like playing with a tennis ball but will also chase rabbits if given half a chance!

He isn't keen on cats and is not used to children so an all-adult home is preferred.

Contact Arc Animal Rescue Centre on 01404 815487 if you could offer this lovely boy a home or visit the Arc website here.
