Wales & West Utilities is starting its final phase of work to upgrade the gas pipes in the Burnt Oak area of Sidbury.

It will start on 2 October and will finish by the end of the month "barring any engineering difficulties".

A road closure will be in place on the A375, from Two Bridges Road to Chapel Street, between 2-27 October.

Wales & West Utilities spokesperson Roxanne Whittaker said: "We are pleased with the progress of our work and are on track to complete it on time.

"We'll have a team of gas engineers on site throughout the project to make sure our work is completed as safely and as quickly as possible while keeping disruption to a minimum."

The company is inviting people to get in touch if they have questions on 0800 912 2999, or by Facebook or Twitter.
