Road closures for Sidmouth coronation street parties announced

Devon County Council has announced which roads in the county will be closed for street parties for the coronation of King Charles III.

His Majesty will be crowned on Saturday 6 May, and there will be a bank holiday on Monday 8 May.

In Sidmouth, the streets which will be closed for coronation parties are as follows:

Saturday 6 May

  • Newlands Close (Sidmouth).

Sunday 7 May

  • King Alfred Way (Newton Poppleford);
  • Church Street (Sidbury);
  • Harcombe Lane (Sidford);
  • Primley Road (Sidmouth);
  • Ashley Crescent (Sidmouth);
  • Manstone Avenue (Sidmouth);
  • Barn Hayes (Sidmouth);
  • Sid Lane (Sidmouth);
  • Connaught Road (Sidmouth);
  • High Street, Fore Street, Esplanade, Station Road and Coburg Road (Sidmouth).

Monday 8 May

  • Balfours (Sidmouth).
