Date: 18.02.2019Time: 14:10Location: Kings Road, Honiton.The Fire Service were called to reports of a road traffic collision with persons trapped at the above location. Fire Control mobilised one fire appliance from Honiton, one fire appliance from Ottery St Mary and one fire appliance from Sidmouth.

Once the crew got in attendance the officer in charge confirmed the incident to be a 2 vehicle road traffic collision with one casualty trapped in each car. The crew got to work to release casualties within vehicles with the use of hydraulic cutting equipment, small tools and one hose reel jet.

When both casualties were released from vehicles the care of the casualties were handed over to the on scene paramedics.

The crew made the area and the vehicles safe and returned to home station.
