The role of Sid Valley Radio in keeping communications going across The Sid Valley has never been more vital.

Over the coming weeks, your local radio station will become even more important as a source for news and information to families, businesses and individuals adapting to new ways of living and working.

With a majority of people working from home and schools closed, Sid Valley Radio is providing entertainment, local news and information that is accurate and of high-quality.

Sid Valley Radio which at present is only online approached our MP and Sidmouth resident Simon Jupp who contacted the Department of Culture Heritage and Sport to see if they would change policy to grant a temporary Emergency FM license to provide a service of local community broadcasting to the Sid Valley.

Your co-operation is fundamental to the station remaining truly local, reflecting quickly new developments as they unfold.
