Sidbury burglary jewellery may be offered for sale, police warn

Police have issued photos of jewellery taken in a Sidbury burglary in September 2022 in case anyone is offered them for purchase.
The jewellery includes a gold engraved wedding ring, an opal and diamond crescent brooch, an amethyst ring with pearls, a ruby ring with pearls, and other items.
The burglary happened between 12 and 15 September. Silverware, cash and alcohol were also taken.
A police spokesperson said: "We understand that this was some time ago, but we ask for anyone with information or offered similar items or a large amount of jewellery under suspicious circumstances to please email [email protected] or call 101.
"Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 or via the charity's website."
Another burglary was also reported in the Manstone Close area of Sidmouth between 20 and 22 September.
