Drainage improvement works are set to be carried out at Jacob's Ladder Beach, East Devon District Council has said.

The works will take place on the access slope to the beach, which goes down from Peak Hill Road to the beach below.

They will commence on Monday 14 February and last for three days.

While the works are underway, pedestrian access will still be maintained, but the council has warned that there could be some disruption.

An EDDC spokesperson said: "Drainage improvement works to the access slope to Jacob's Ladder Beach is due to commence on Monday 14 February and will last for three days.
