Firefighters are still tackling a blaze at a derelict two-storey hotel in the Harepath Hill area of Seaton.

Crews were called to the scene just after 4.15pm on Monday (23 October).

The fire was brought under control by around 6.30pm, with firefighting efforts continuing through the night and crews still "damping down" hotspots this morning.

As many as 17 fire stations, including Sidmouth, have been involved in efforts to extinguish it.

The fire service is yet to comment on how the blaze started.
