Organisers of Sidmouth Folk Festival have announced the initial line-up for 2023.

The festival, which will take place from 4 to 11 August, will feature The Unthanks, Show of Hands, McCusker McGoldrick Doyle, Lady Maisery, Talisk, Breabach, Seth Lakeman and Skerryvore, plus pre-festival shows with The Fisherman's Friends and Barbara Dickson.

Founded in 1955, the annual week-long celebration will "offer something for all ages".

Alongside major concerts, there will also be ceilidhs and folk dancing, storytelling, family entertainment and youth-centred sessions, hands-on workshops and more.
