The headline acts and dates have now been announced for next year's Sidmouth Folk Festival.

The festival will take place over a one-week period from 29 July to 5 August 2022, organisers have said. It comes after the event was held online in 2020, and scaled back in 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

What's on?

The headline acts include Kate Rusby, Eddi Reader, Show of Hands, The Spooky Men's Chorale, Spiers and Boden, Jez Lowe + Granny's Attic, and the Yves Lambert Trio.

There will be special pre-festival shows with Steeleye Span and The Fisherman's Friends, and the Bulverton marquee will return for ceilidhs, evening shows, and refreshments.

There will also be workshops on offer in choral singing and fiddle playing, together with the Children's Festival, the Youth Festival, Morris Dance displays and dance sessions in Blackmore Gardens.

Tickets

Tickets are now on sale on the Sidmouth Folk Festival website.

You can book for a single day, the weekend, or for the whole week - camping and discounted tickets are also on offer.
