Sidmouth Nub News: How you can get involved

By The Editor

26th Apr 2020 | Local News

Sidmouth Nub News has just reached an important landmark in its history - so we thought we would tell anyone new to the site what we are all about.

After starting in February last year, the online news service Sidmouth Nub News has attracted more than 70,000 users to our website. Thank you for all your support over the past year.

As you can see, we are growing all the time and we want to explain how you can get involved with a site that is all about Sidmouth and the surrounding villages.

But it is also supporting those communities, here is how you can be a part of it:

  • Stories: If you have a story to tell or know of someone we should be writing about, get in touch. We have already reported on a number of people and companies making news in the area. Our black 'nub it' button enables local people, businesses, councillors, campaigners and sports clubs to write articles for us. You can input the information directly to us. We will then put it on the site from here. It really is that easy.
  • Directory: How is your business operating during the lockdown? Let us know. Again, by using the 'nub it' button you can then tell us all about it, we will then publicise this on our website, Facebook page and on Twitter. This is a FREE service and good to know with summer approaching.
  • Classifieds: We also have a super fast section of classified, jobs and property, all dedicated to Sidmouth and the surrounding area, so there is no need to type in postcodes or your address.
  • And we want to add more features during 2020.

We aim to be in the heart of the town and give you a voice.

It has been great to see the reaction we have had so far from the community and we want to make that connection stronger.

The site is very quick and easy to use on computer or mobile - we like to call it 'Your Town in Your Pocket'.

Either use the Nub It button, get in touch via Facebook or email: [email protected].
