Sidmouth optometrists win national award for celebration of 'ageless style'

Local News by Hannah Corfield 20th Sep 2019

McShaw Optometrists have received a national award at the annual SightCare Conference, which was held at The International Centre in Telford on Monday 23.

The Sidmouth optometrists walked away with the 'Moment of the Year' award, as a result of an event held at the premises in November of last year.

The evening was a celebration of the agelessness of style, with women over the age of 40 modelling eyewear and having their photograph taken.

As Practice Manager, Soo McShaw said: "It was about empowering older women to embrace their stylishness, which often improves with age.

"We had a wonderful evening with lots of the stylish ladies who come to our practice trying on different glasses - whilst having their photo taken and enjoying Prosecco and nibbles.

"We are pleased that we have been able to bring home another national award to Sidmouth - what a joy it is to be able to provide a service that makes such a difference.

"Thank you to all the people that helped make this happen, especially the ladies who proved that style is enduring and to Lydia at Willow Studio for the fabulous images and Go Eyewear for those 'style me' frames."
