Sidmouth: Three cars involved in Newton Poppleford crash

A crash involving three cars took place on the A3052 in Newton Poppleford this morning (Thursday 24 March).

The police and ambulance service were called out at 8.20am, and the road was blocked for two hours until 10.20am.

There were only minor injuries.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police and ambulance were called at 8.20am today [24 March] following a three-car collision on Exeter Road in Newton Poppleford.

"Minor injuries only; a number of people were checked by ambulance [log is unclear].

"The road was blocked but clear by 10.20am."
