Tickets are still available for next week's new Christmas light trail at Connaught Gardens.

The event will take place from Tuesday 7 December until Sunday 12 December, and include an illuminated trail, a light display projected onto the cliffs and hillside above Jacob's Ladder, and stalls selling gifts and food under a marquee (non-ticketed) in the Manor Road car park.

Organisers have reportedly begun dressing Connaught Gardens with as many as 550 lighting units, 7km of cable, over 860 metres of fairy light strings and thousands of LED lamps. They have said that the marquee will be ventilated and there will be picnic tables outside.

The gardens will be open from 4.30pm to 9.30pm, and the stalls from 1pm.
