Sidmouth: Tom Daley to cycle through Sidford on Wednesday
Summary:
- Tom Daley will cycle through Sidford on Wednesday 16 February
- It's part of a four-day challenge to row, cycle, run and swim from London to Plymouth
- He's doing it to raise money for Comic Relief
Olympic gold-medallist Tom Daley will be cycling through Sidford on Wednesday (16 February) as part of an epic endurance challenge for Comic Relief.
The challenge will see the diver row, cycle, run and swim from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford to his hometown of Plymouth in four days.
He is currently in Reading at the time of writing. On Wednesday, he will cycle 130 miles from Southampton to Bovey Castle on Dartmoor - passing through Sidford on the way.
He should appear in late afternoon after 4pm - but you can track his progress on an interactive map here.
Tom said: "I'd love for people to get out on the streets and come and say hello while we're doing this challenge - I'm going to need all the support that I can get.
"Most importantly, even if you can't come outside and say hello, it would mean so much to so many people if you could donate what you can to Red Nose Day."
Tom Daley's Hell of a Homecoming will be filmed for a BBC One and iPlayer documentary to air in March.
Red Nose Day returns on Friday 18 March. Click here to donate on the Comic Relief website.
