To help you make the most of your time this weekend Sidmouth Nub News has put together a weekend weather report.

According to the Met Office after this morning's cloudy start the weather should continue to improve this afternoon and into the evening. Temperatures could reach 24C.

Tonight will be dry across the area with some clear skies in the south east. Cloud will move in as we move into the early hours of Saturday.

Saturday will begin with patchy cloud but this will break up as the morning goes on. There should be plenty of sunshine on Saturday afternoon and evening. There may be some light rain overnight.

Any lingering rain on Sunday morning should make way for clear skies and sunny weather as the day progresses.

The outlook for Monday and Tuesday is 'largely dry and bright with sunny spells'.
