Sinkhole forces emergency closure of Sidmouth road

The A3052 has been closed near Sidmouth after a sinkhole appeared overnight.

The A3052 is closed near The Donkey Sanctuary due to the sinkhole and Devon and Cornwall Police officers have been called to the scene.

Traffic is being diverted via the A375 to Honiton, the A35 for Axminster and the A358 to Boshill Cross.

Drivers are advised to expect delays and find alternative routes where possible.
